As an Amazon Virtual Assistant, you will be the structural architect of our store’s inventory. This is a high-level, zero-handholding role designed for a seasoned expert who can move beyond basic data entry to take full ownership of listing health, catalog architecture, and troubleshooting complex Amazon glitches. Your role is critical in ensuring our listings stay live, optimized, and immune to Amazon's automated suppression systems.
Responsibilities
Masterfully create, update, and delete complex parent-child variations utilizing category-specific inventory flat files and bulk upload templates.
Diagnose and resolve frequent Amazon feed errors (such as Errors 8541, 5665, or 8058) without disrupting existing reviews or historical BSR.
Instantly detect and resolve suppressed, stranded, or deactivated listings caused by policy compliance flags, Hazmat reviews, or accidental pesticide triggers.
Conduct daily sweeps of all active SKUs to ensure bullet points, images, titles, and backend search terms remain intact and uncorrupted by Amazon's system updates.
Manage brand attributes, update global catalog identifiers (GCIDs), and file intellectual property cases to secure absolute listing control.
Proactively identify and combat unauthorized sellers, counterfeiters, or malicious detail page contributions that alter brand messaging.
Audit and correct miscategorized products, working directly with the catalog team to shift items into higher-converting subcategories.
Keep backend search terms, target audience attributes, and hidden fields continuously updated and aligned with our SEO strategy.
Open, track, and aggressively escalate high-stakes Seller Support cases, knowing exactly how to bypass first-tier boilerplate responses to get actual technical results.
Operate autonomously from day one, manage listing emergencies under pressure, and maintain sharp attention to detail without managerial oversight.
Anticipate potential challenges and independently execute proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
Identify operational bottlenecks early, taking immediate action and offering data-driven insights to improve efficiency.
Requirements
At least 2 years of dedicated experience handling complex Amazon catalog issues (this is not a general admin or entry-level training role).
Expert-level proficiency in Amazon Seller Central backend, advanced inventory flat files, and tools like Helium 10 or Brand Registry Support.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (must be highly comfortable with text formulas, data cleaning, and mapping fields for bulk uploads).
A proven, hands-on track record of recovering suppressed listings and successfully navigating the Amazon case escalation ecosystem independently.
Clear, concise, and persuasive written English for drafting bulletproof appeals, flat-file explanations, and professional communication with Amazon internal teams.
Ability to operate autonomously from day one, manage listing emergencies under pressure, and maintain sharp attention to detail without managerial oversight.
