Career Strategies is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Porter to join a well-established apartment community in the Portland, OR 97229 area. This is a full-time opportunity with immediate start available!

Position Summary:
As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community’s grounds, amenities, and common areas. Your work plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and well-kept environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain grounds, community amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas.
Perform daily trash pickup around the property and perimeter.
Complete trash removal from vacant units (trash-outs) to assist in make-ready preparation.
Support the maintenance team with apartment cleaning and turnover tasks.
Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Provide assistance with basic maintenance, such as minor carpentry, electrical, or mechanical repairs.
Support seasonal property needs, including snow removal (if applicable).
Qualifications:
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately.
Previous groundskeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to work independently and follow directions.
Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
