<br><br><p><strong>Position Summary: </strong></p>
<p>The Assistant VP supports the leadership team in meeting and exceeding budgets and clinical effectiveness targets. They partner with department leaders to manage Operations, Clinical and Medical Services, Referral Management, Information Technology, and Facilities/Maintenance. The Assistant VP adheres to budgets, monitors staffing hours and overtime, and maintains positive relations with individuals, families, and employees.</p>
<p>They manage relationships with regulatory agencies, oversee marketing and occupancy rates, and facilitate interviewing, placement, and training of Care Team Managers. The Assistant VP ensures staff professionalism, implements corrective actions, and assists with compliance responses. They coordinate move-ins, transfers, and discharges, review individual performance, and evaluate service contractors.</p>
<p>The Assistant VP monitors meal plans, cleanliness, and individual satisfaction, ensures BSLS activities meet individuals' needs, maintains accurate records, and performs administrative duties. They ensure compliance with laws and regulations, develop systems to monitor operations, and complete assigned duties while adhering to BSLS Core Values, Mission Statement, and Corporate Philosophies.</p>
<p><strong>Education & Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p> • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Behavioral Health, Business Administration, Social Work or a related field required, Master’s degree in related field is preferred.</p>
<p> • Must be licensed in good standing, if required by the State Licensing Authority.</p>
<p>• Must be an excellent communicator and able to effectively communicate with employees, individuals served, families, regulatory officials, state hospitals and the general public.</p>
<p> • A minimum of 5-10 years in an Adult Foster Care, nursing home administrator, or manager of operations position preferred.</p>
<p>• Must have compassion for and a desire to work with special populations with IDD and chronic illnesses.</p>
<p><strong>Travel:</strong></p>
<p> A significant amount of travel is required to visit BSLS locations.</p>
<p><strong>Working Environment:</strong></p>
<p> •This position requires a minimum of three (3) full days per week in the field.</p>
