Are you highly organised, numerically strong, comfortable working at pace and from a dental background — then this is the role for you!

Spot On Business Planning is growing and we are looking for a business analyst to take ownership of a portfolio of dental practice clients and drive their performance. This is a demanding, fast-paced role with real responsibility. You will be expected to think, prioritise, analyse and deliver — consistently.

About Spot On Business Planning

Spot On Business Planning supports ambitious dental practices to improve profitability, efficiency and overall business performance.

We are not traditional consultants. Our work is practical, data-driven and focused on delivery — working closely with clients to understand their numbers, identify opportunities and implement change.

Our approach combines financial modelling, operational insight and structured planning to give practices clarity and direction, with clear targets and accountability.

The team works at pace, to a high standard, and with a strong focus on outcomes. This is a business where expectations are high — both internally and with clients.

What you will be doing

  • Managing ~30 dental practice clients at any one time
  • Leading and attending regular Zoom meetings
  • Producing accurate, structured meeting notes with clear actions
  • Building, updating and explaining Excel-based business models
  • Analysing KPIs, performance and financial data
  • Keeping clients on track — proactively driving progress
  • Managing multiple deadlines without constant supervision

This is not an admin role. You are responsible for momentum, clarity and delivery.

Non-negotiable requirements (do not apply if you do not meet these)

  • Proven experience working in a dental practice (nurse, TCO, clinician or manager)
  • Strong Excel skills (minimum intermediate — you will be tested)
  • High numerical ability, particularly percentages (tested at interview)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately at the same time
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Confident, professional communication (written and verbal)

Selection process

You will be tested at first interview on:

  • Excel capability
  • Numerical aptitude (including percentages)

Supportive team — but high expectations!
