Duties
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally and practicing proper phone etiquette
Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and merchandising efforts
Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring a positive shopping experience
Experience
Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved overseeing customer service or cashier teams
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening, are essential for success
Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments will help you excel in this role

Pay: $22.70 - $27.34 per hour
