About the Role
Our West Wichita, Kansas clinic is looking for a passionate, outgoing Medical Assistants searching for a fun environment to work in. Medical assistants will have both front office and clinical responsibilities: on the clinical side, conducting blood draws, administering injections, operating a Gainswave machine (training given), and assisting in operating our onsite laboratory. On the front office side you’ll be greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering general patient inquiries, as well as documenting patient vitals, test results and treatments into our EMR.
Candidates must be free of malpractice claims (current and pending).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hours per week as soon as clientele numbers allow (Now 32 hours but we will grow fast!)
Medical specialties:
- Internal Medicine
- Must be physically able to perform phlebotomy and give Injections (appropriately)
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Opening Tuesday to Friday and operating Monday to Friday as soon as our Client numbers allow
- No weekends
- No holidays
Work setting:
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
