We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the AM shift to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, behavioral health, and acute care settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through attentive and respectful caregiving, utilizing a broad range of clinical skills and medical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, including use of Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately using EMR/EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and safety protocols are followed
  • Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs
  • Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other medical procedures following aseptic techniques
  • Support patients during transfers and mobility exercises, ensuring safety at all times
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, ICU, trauma, and post-acute care settings
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols for infectious disease care and aseptic techniques
  • Document patient interactions thoroughly in medical records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations

Skills

  • Experience in various healthcare settings including hospitals (Level I & II trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice care, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring
  • Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and handle emergency situations effectively
  • Experience working with special populations such as those with disabilities or developmental delays is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Compassionate caregiving attitude with a focus on patient safety and comfort

Shift : 7am -3:30pm

Full Time : 4-2 schedule

Pay: $21.50 - $24.00 per hour
