Compensation: $250 daily rate (with the oppertunity to make more depending on the coverage needed)

Position Overview

Freedom Transportation Systems LLC is seeking versatile and dependable Class A CDL drivers for a Flex Driver position. This role is designed to support both linehaul and final mile operations, covering dedicated routes as needed.

This is a high-impact role requiring drivers who can adapt quickly, operate different equipment types, and ensure freight is delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover dedicated routes across both linehaul and final mile operations
  • Operate Class A equipment and 26-ft box trucks as required
  • Complete end-point deliveries, including unloading and customer interaction
  • Follow all route instructions, delivery procedures, and scanning requirements
  • Ensure 100% compliance with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS)
  • Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain proper load securement and freight handling standards
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding ETAs, delays, and issues
  • Adapt to changing routes, schedules, and operational needs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (box truck and/or Class A equipment)
  • Ability and willingness to operate both tractor-trailer and box truck equipment
  • Experience with final mile deliveries and customer-facing service
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS)
  • Ability to manage and avoid HOS violations through proper trip planning
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and handling freight
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
