Job Summary

BuzzFeed is seeking a talented and imaginative Creative Copywriter to join our remote team on a contract basis. In this role, you will craft compelling, witty, and original copy that aligns with BuzzFeed’s signature voice and drives engagement across multiple platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and marketers to develop copy for digital campaigns, branded content, social media posts, and video scripts.   • Key Responsibilities
  • Write engaging, high-quality copy for BuzzFeed’s digital channels including websites, newsletters, social media, and branded campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and execute original ideas.
  • Develop attention-grabbing headlines, taglines, and promotional content that reflect BuzzFeed’s tone and style.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and grammatical excellence.
  • Research current trends, viral content, and audience insights to inform creative strategies.
  • Produce compelling storytelling for both editorial and commercial projects.
