Our client is looking for Crew Member Job Requirements: • At least one (1) year of experience in a similar position in the food industry would be an asset • Valid Food Handler’s Certificate • Ability to work in a high-paced environment • Excellent time-management and interpersonal skills (punctual and disciplined) • Able to read and follow recipes to maintain brand standards • Physically fit and able to work under various conditions (exposure to heat, cold, powdered/liquid ingredients) and lift/move up to 50 lbs. of weight • Flexibility to work on a rotating shift system (we operate 7-days per week) • Ready to adapt and follow a ‘Clean on the Go’ mentality • Valid police clearance (not more than 6 months old) Job Responsibilities: • Follow the company’s ‘A.C.T Guest First’ philosophy in all aspects • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and educate guests accordingly (value propositioning) • Able to function efficiently in a teamwork setting • Utilize production inventory efficiently and minimize wastage • Create/make brand products to standard utilizing ingredients, utensils and light & heavy duty bakery equipment • Update cleaning and production logs as required by company policy • Treat both internal and external customers with respect and consideration, fostering a healthy work culture • Able to give and receive constructive feedback • ‘Centerfield’ whenever necessary (support other roles within the bakery during busy peak times) • Support the meeting and exceeding of sales targets daily, weekly and monthly • Work SMART and SAFE always • Other tasks as assigned by manager
