Director of Customer Marketing

About Us

Welcome to Reeco, where we are transforming the back-of-house tech for the hospitality industry. Think of it like this: while hotels are all about luxury and convenience, their operations are often stuck in the ‘90s. From emailing suppliers to doing inventory with pen and paper – it is outdated, inefficient, and expensive. That is where we come in! With the power of AI, we help streamline operations for top brands like Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG, so they can focus on what really matters – delivering amazing guest experiences while keeping everything running like clockwork.

Why Reeco

At Reeco, we live by our core values, which we call Heartt: Humility, Excellence, Ambition, Respect, Transparency, and Trust. We believe that by putting both heartt and mind into everything we do, we can transform the hospitality industry. We are on a mission to provide simple, powerful solutions for our customers with the same dedication they put into serving their guests.

Job Summary

Reeco is looking for a strategic, builder-minded Director of Customer Marketing to join our team. You will start as an individual contributor, rolling up your sleeves to build the engine from scratch, with the expectation of hiring and leading a team as we scale.

You will own the strategy and execution for upselling to our current customers across all segments, carrying revenue and expansion ARR targets. Additionally, you will be the voice of our rapidly evolving product, working closely with the Product team to craft compelling narratives around frequent feature releases and updates.

This is not a role for someone looking for an existing playbook. We need a visionary who can come in, leverage our tech stack, and build the path forward in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Customer Marketing will take on a multifaceted role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You will drive upsell and expansion pipeline across our entire customer base, holding accountability for revenue targets tied to customer growth and adoption metrics. Partnering deeply with the Product team, you will understand frequent feature ships and determine the strategic narrative, deciding what to communicate, how to bundle updates for milestones, and the best channels to reach our users.

You will own the full lifecycle of customer campaigns. While you will eventually have supporting resources from Creative Services and Revenue Ops, you must be comfortable strategizing, writing copy, and building campaigns directly in Customer.io today. Acting as the connective tissue between Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, RevOps, and Creative Services, you will ensure a cohesive customer journey and aligned revenue goals.
