About Us
Daycare is seeking a dedicated, creative, and caring Elementary School Teacher to help lead and manage our homeschool enrichment program within a nurturing daycare environment. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about individualized learning, fostering academic growth, and creating engaging educational experiences for elementary-aged children.
Position Summary
The Elementary School Teacher will oversee daily instruction and educational activities for homeschooled students enrolled in our program. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, support students' academic development, and collaborate with families to ensure educational goals are met.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for elementary-aged homeschool students.
Provide instruction in core subjects, including reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies.
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
Create hands-on learning experiences and enrichment activities.
Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs.
Collaborate with daycare staff to coordinate schedules and activities.
Ensure compliance with state homeschool and childcare regulations as applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
Valid teaching certification preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Experience teaching elementary-aged children.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
