We are seeking a dedicated Female Caregiver to provide daily in-home care for clients in the Dallas, TX area. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring patient safety, and supporting overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior and disability care, with a passion for making a positive difference in clients' lives through compassionate support and attentive caregiving.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, health status, and behavioral changes to ensure comprehensive patient observation.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper meal planning and adherence to care plans.
Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support clients with mobility using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; perform heavy lifting as needed safely.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
Document all care activities thoroughly and communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and team members about patient progress.
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable.
Proven background in dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, or hospice support.
Experience with patient monitoring techniques and administering medications safely.
Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills essential for emergency response situations.
Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Demonstrated ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocols.
Strong interpersonal skills to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds while maintaining professionalism.
