<p>Financial Controller</p><p><strong>Senior Finance Leadership | Project-Driven Environment</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Financial Controller</strong> to lead accounting, financial reporting, and planning activities for a large, project-based organization operating in complex, regulated environments.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a senior finance role with responsibility for technical accounting, project controls integration, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and team leadership.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities, including project accounting, general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, and audits</li><li>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and variance analysis</li><li>Partner closely with operations and project controls to support financial decision-making</li><li>Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable tax and regulatory requirements</li><li>Manage audit processes and support insurance and risk-related financial activities</li><li>Drive improvements in reporting, FP&A processes, and financial systems (Oracle / reporting tools)</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)</li><li>CPA or CMA strongly preferred; MBA a plus</li><li>10+ years of accounting or finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role</li><li>Strong background in project accounting and FP&A</li><li>Experience in construction, mining, infrastructure, or other project-driven industries preferred</li><li>Solid working knowledge of IFRS</li><li>Experience with Oracle and/or Power BI reporting tools</li><li>Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>What This Role Offers</p><p><br></p><ul><li>High-visibility finance leadership role</li><li>Direct collaboration with senior operations and executive leadership</li><li>Opportunity to influence financial strategy, controls, and performance</li><li>Mix of office-based work with occasional site exposure</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><em>This role may involve limited travel and the ability to operate effectively in demanding, deadline-driven environments.</em></p><p><br></p><p><em>***Only qualified candidates will receive responses***</em></p>
