Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, patient-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience. Falls Church, Lorton and Alexandria locations is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a professional front-office environment.
  • Scheduling & Communication: Manage a high volume of incoming calls and schedule patient appointments with accuracy.
  • Financial Coordination: Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and outstanding balances at the time of service.
  • Clinical Support: Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and coordinate prescription refills with pharmacies (electronic, phone, or written).
  • Operational Support: Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as needed to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of medical office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong "willingness to learn" and a proactive attitude.
  • Communication: Strong customer service skills are a must.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and basic office software.
  • Mobility: Must have reliable transportation to travel between our locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
