Front-End Angular/CSS Developer (Remote)

Founded in 2019, iBynd ( is a growing Insurance Technology company with offices in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and remote employees in New York and Ontario, Canada. The core of our business is built around providing Cyber Insurance and other categories of insurance to small and medium sized business through our proprietary platform that is connected via API to many large insurance carriers. We are an extremely collaborative team that works hard everyday to make sure our platform offers insurance that will protect our customers.

Who we are looking for:

The Front-End Angular/CSS Developer position is ideal for someone who has a passion for working with a small and growing team where you will have daily access to the decision makers charting the company’s path.

Responsibilities:

• Building, optimizing and maintaining front-end web apps done purely in Angular

• Working closely w/ API developers to integrate REST Web services into Angular front-end components and services.

• Designing and laying out beautiful Web page designs and working closely w/ product team to achieve this.

Required Qualifications:

• 4 Year College Degree (or the equivalent)

• 3-5 years solid front end UI/CSS/HTML/JavaScript design experience. Work must be shown.

• 2-3 years Angular (not AngularJS) development utilizing API calls, Angular state management (Observables|Subscriptions|etc), Reactive Forms, Angular Modules, Routing and experience w/ performance LazyLoading, Code Splitting modules, LocalStorage, etc.

• Strong TypeScript knowledge and working experience writing TypeScript-based Angular components and services.

• A performance and high-quality code mindset w/ a desire to constantly engineer the highest quality of design and software development.

• Working experience with GIT is required.

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

• Java/MongoDB experience is a huge plus.
