Duties

  • Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the clinic or ER
  • Verify patient information and insurance coverage
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Assist with patient registration and discharge processes
  • Collect co-pays and process payments
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficient in using phone systems and computer applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
This position requires strong customer service skills, as you will be interacting with patients on a daily basis. The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality is also essential.
