Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Phone Support
Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism.
Provide warm, helpful communication to patients, families, clinicians, and provider offices.
Scheduling & Visit Management
Schedule patient visits for nursing and therapy staff.
Manage cancellations, schedule changes, and EMR updates.
Track visit counts to ensure compliance with authorized frequencies.
Patient Intake & EMR Entry
Enter new patients into the EMR, including demographics, insurance, referral details, and discipline requests.
Ensure all patient records are complete and accurately maintained.
Referral Portal Monitoring
Check referral portals daily for new incoming referrals.
Download and organize referral documents; forward to clinical leadership.
Log referral source, date/time received, and referral status.
Physician Orders
Send, track, and follow up on orders until returned signed.
Maintain order‑tracking logs.
Pick up signed orders in‑person from nearby physician offices as needed.
