As a Game Level Designer, you will:
Design and balance appealing levels, missions, and experiences from concept, to creation using internal tools.
Design the structure and the order of levels to create an ideal progression for the player.
Collaborate with Data Analysts to understand level performance through analytics and adjust levels accordingly.
Adjust and modify designs and the game levels based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests, and community feedback
Working with a talented and cross-discipline team to grow the product by adding new levels while also continuously improving the existing game experience.
Communicate design clearly and concisely with the team and throughout the studio
Inspire the agile and multidisciplinary game team through progressive & creative design
Requirements
Game Level Designer role requires:
A consistent 5+ years track record of (relevant and released) Casual and/or Hybrid Casual games, at least 3+ years specifically on Hybrid/Casual Puzzles.
Profound insight into the level balancing, pacing & difficulty tuning
Solid problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
Independent, self-motivated, driving new initiatives to improve the game.
Strong empathic ability to understand and “feel” our target audience
You embrace F2P and enjoy working with KPIs and analytics to adjust your designs in data-driven decisions
Learning and applying collected player feedback
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
Proficiency in data spreadsheets and working with analytical and technical tools
Ability to work with remote teams
