<p>iMethods is seeking an <strong>Epic Security Analyst </strong>for a full time opportunity. This is a fully remote position for applicants residing in the following states - Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for resolving complex technical issues and system errors, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to patient care.</li><li>Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving system errors to ensure uninterrupted use of the EHR system.</li><li>Provide guidance to other team members for and perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and upgrades, to ensure the stability and security of the EHR system.</li><li>Provide guidance in and assist in coordinating testing and validation activities for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades, following pre-defined change management processes to ensure that new features and configurations meet functional requirements and do not introduce unintended consequences or disruptions.</li><li>Lead efforts to optimize the performance and usability of the EHR system, leveraging deep knowledge of system functionalities and user workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.</li><li>Coordinate collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, clinicians, administrators, and vendors, to support EHR initiatives and projects, and facilitate communication and coordination</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, and establish knowledge-sharing practices to ensure the availability and accessibility of critical information within the team.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts and end-users, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities and promote continuous learning and professional development within the organization.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Education Requirements:<strong> </strong>Bachelor's Degree required.</li><li>Experience Requirements: 3 - 5 years of applicable IT or healthcare experience required.</li><li>Epic Implementation experience preferred. Experience working with Epic required. </li></ul><p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Epic certification in specified area required - EpicCare Security.</li><li>Multiple Epic certifications preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent analytical, organization, and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and within teams.</li><li>Ability to solve complex problems and understand customer needs.</li><li>Strong understanding of healthcare business process and technology.</li><li>Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology.</li><li>Possesses cross-application integration knowledge.</li><li>Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li></ul><p></p>
