This is a great opportunity to support a high performing tech team and gain hands-on experience in a fast paced environment.</p> <p><b>This position is a 6-month contract role.</b></p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Provide in-person IT support to NYC based staff, including VIPs and executives</li> <li>Act as the frontline for walk-up support and hardware and software troubleshooting</li> <li>Support meeting room setups, networking, and basic AV needs</li> <li>Manage and resolve tickets using Jira Service Management</li> <li>Handle hardware setups, imaging, inventory, and asset tracking</li> <li>Escalate issues as needed and collaborate with the global IT team</li> <li>Maintain clear documentation of support tasks and resolutions</li> </ul> <h2>Experience And Background</h2> <ul> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Comfortable working onsite full time in a user-facing support role</li> <li>Familiar with macOS, Windows, and business tools (Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, etc.)</li> <li>Eager to learn and contribute to team success</li> <li>Experience in IT support (internship, helpdesk, or school or office setting)</li> <li>Familiarity with tools like Jira, Jamf, and AV or conference room tech</li> </ul> <h2>About Us</h2> <ul> <li>We are a multinational company with offices in the US (New York and Los Angeles), Germany (Berlin), and the UK (London)</li> <li>We provide a flexible work culture that offers the opportunity to collaborate and connect in person at our offices as well as accommodating work from home</li> <li>We are deeply committed to ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion at all levels of our organization and fostering a community where everyone’s voice, perspective and experience is respected and heard</li> <li>We believe a strong team is made by investing in employees through mentorship, workshops and enrichment opportunities</li> </ul> <p>Salary for the 6-month contract is $60,000.</p> <h2>Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at SoundCloud</h2> <p>SoundCloud is for everyone.
