Journeyman Plumber – Crew Lead (Residential Rough Plumbing)

Hive Plumbing is looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team as a Crew Lead. In this leadership role, you will run a crew of 3–5 plumbers and be responsible for high-quality residential sub-rough and rough plumbing on new construction and remodel projects.

You’ll lead your team on job sites, ensure work is completed safely and to code, and help us deliver excellent results for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 3–5 plumbers on residential plumbing projects
• Perform and oversee sub-rough and rough-in plumbing installations
• Read blueprints, layout plumbing systems, and ensure installations meet code
• Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and productivity on every job
• Train and mentor crew members
• Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and the Hive team
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Plumber License in Utah (required)
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on residential plumbing experience
• Strong experience with residential sub-rough and rough plumbing
• Proven ability to lead and manage a small crew
• Ability to read blueprints and follow plumbing plans
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Clean background check and ability to pass a drug screen
• Valid Utah drivers license
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety
