Junior Project Manager - Oncology | G reater Boston, MA | Permanent

About the Opportunity A biotech in oncology is hiring its next Junior Clinical Project Manager. This is an early-career seat for someone with 2–3 years in clinical trials, ready to step up into project management under the mentorship of an experienced clinical lead.

What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day operational delivery across Phase 1/2 oncology studies — site start-up through close-out
  • Maintain project timelines, action logs, and risk trackers
  • Coordinate with clinical sites, CROs, and study vendors
  • Support site activation milestones and enrollment tracking
  • Track protocol deviations, monitoring follow-ups, and query resolution
  • Maintain TMF/eTMF and contribute to clinical documents including ICFs, monitoring plans, and study management plans
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Data Management, and Medical Affairs
What You Bring
  • 2–3 years of direct clinical trial experience — sponsor-side, CRO, or hospital research coordinator
  • Oncology or oncology-adjacent experience (academic, cooperative-group, or sponsor-side all count)
  • Strong technical comfort with EDC, CTMS, and standard clinical trial tooling
  • Comfortable with the hands-on, manual side of trial execution — this is a roll-up-sleeves seat, not manage-from-above
  • Organised, proactive, and motivated to grow under a senior clinical lead
  • Based in Greater Boston
Why This Role
  • Mentorship from an experienced clinical lead, with a clear path to a full PM seat over time
  • Real exposure to the full trial lifecycle in a small, mission-driven oncology biotech
  • Genuine learning environment for an early-career operator
Compensation $85,000 – $110,000 annual base salary, plus benefits. Final offer based on experience.
