Overview:
The Labor Journeyman performs basic housekeeping on construction site.
Responsibilities:
Labor Journeyman typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of construction debris
Navigate construction job site terrain
Clean & sanitize jobsite trailers
Assist with basic deliveries & material storage
Housekeeping interior and exterior project site
Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, work to be directed & planned by Foreperson
Reporting all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader
Any scope of work outside of they above listed, shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED
Construction experience preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
OSHA 10 hour certified recommended, (Next 150 Construction will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)
Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
Ability to work in a team environment
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
Pay ranges from $21.50-$28.50 plus benefits and retirement program.
