Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing vital signs, monitoring symptoms, and performing physical examinations with precision and empathy
Administer medications, injections, IV insertions, and other treatments following strict protocols and safety standards
Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic medical record systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform appropriate care plans
Perform basic life support (BLS) during emergencies
Manage medical records diligently, ensuring all documentation reflects current patient status and treatment history
Support infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold the highest standards of patient safety
Experience
Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping
Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to perform effective patient assessments and interventions
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as IV insertion are advantageous
