Opportunity Details:

  • Location: Jefferson City, TN
  • Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
  • Start Date: September 2023
  • Shift Schedule:
    • Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
    • Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
  • APC Coverage: 12-20 hours per week
  • Minimum Commitment: 12 shifts per month
  • Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
  • Facility Details:
    • Annual Volume: 24,000 patient visits
    • 16 ED Beds
    • No Trauma Designation
    • Transition Orders Required
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Temp Privileges: Available for clean files with an active license
Provider Requirements:
  • Certification: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
  • Licensure: Active & Unrestricted TN State License & DEA
  • Required Certifications for Non-EM Boarded Physicians: ACLS, ATLS
