External applicants must be eligible to work in the US. $5000 Sign On Bonus if HiredYour Role:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Execute full-cycle production, purification, and monitoring of chemical compounds using laboratory equipment and distributed control systems to meet strict MilliporeSigma customer demands.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> Charge solids, liquids, and gases to production vessels, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and utilize material handling equipment (pallet mules) for safe staging and destaging.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex day-to-day packaging and production malfunctions, taking swift corrective action upon approval to minimize operational downtime.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Perform in-process analytical testing with simple data interpretations, accurately logging all information into lab notebooks and batch records following strict Good Documentation Practices (GDP).</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Utilize intermediate SAP knowledge to execute critical logistics functions, including entering work hours into PI sheets, managing material movements, and handling bills of materials.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Actively foster a proactive safety and inclusive culture by identifying unsafe conditions, participating in incident investigations, and documenting actionable preventive suggestions.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Champion 6S and Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency, eliminate waste, and contribute directly to department goals.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Verify the quality and integrity of all materials and equipment, while proactively suggesting necessary revisions or drafting new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm.</li></ul> Physical Attributes:<ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">While performing job functions, employee will sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch or crawl for long periods of time</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus</li></ul> Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:<ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">High School Diploma or GED.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or other Life Science discipline.</li></ul><ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Strong communication skills verbal and written.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Strong attention to detail.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Strong problem solving skills.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Basic math skills, including using the metric system.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Ability to learn how to use manual and automated equipment.</li></ul>RSREMDPay Range for this position: $21/hour - $39/hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
