Medical Assistant MA CNA

Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Assistant (MA) rotating through both a clinic and a surgery center to provide hands-on support in two distinct patient care environments. In the clinic, the focus is on patient intake, and chronic care management. In the surgery center, the role involves higher-level sterile technique, procedural assistance, and sterile processing.

Clinic/ASC Hours:

Mon-Thursday 7:30-5pm

Fri 7:30-12:00pm

Starting August 1st

Mon-Thursday 6:15-5pm

Fri- Off

No holidays or weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients under the direction of medical staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records/documentation.
• Phone Triage
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for procedures.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
• Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, allergies, and medication lists.
• Maintain exam room disinfection protocols.
• Ensure appropriate consent has been obtained prior to treatment or procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and restock supply areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
• Sterile processing

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of medical experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
