MRO Buyer & Procurement Coordinator

Join Musashi as an MRO Buyer & Procurement Coordinator, managing purchasing activities and ensuring timely material availability on-site at the WTC. Utilize your procurement expertise to maintain cost control and accurate inventory levels.

In this role, you will support the company's operational continuity through effective supplier coordination and inventory management across various Musashi entities. Ideal candidates should possess a degree related to purchasing and at least two years of experience in procurement or inventory in the automation equipment sector. Your proficiency in Microsoft 365 and knowledge of SAP will be essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source suppliers and issue purchase orders
  • Monitor maintenance inventory levels via min/max settings
  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering for material reviews
  • Perform monthly cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate logistics for in-bound and out-bound materials

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in procurement or business
  • 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • SCMP designation is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP
