This is a founding team opportunity at a high-end NYC med spa. You won't be one of fifty techs cycling through walk-ins — you'll be the nail artist who anchors our brand, builds the book, and helps us hire the team around you.

WHY YOU'LL WANT THIS ROLE We're building a premium, design-forward med spa in Manhattan where the craft matters and the clients pay for quality. We're starting with nails because we want to do this right from day one — that means finding the best Russian Manicure specialist in NYC to anchor our team. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Russian Manicures and Russian Pedicures using e-file (dry manicure) technique with precise cuticle work and crisp sidewall finish
• Apply structured gel, BIAB (Builder in a Bottle), Gel-X, and gel polish with proper nail architecture for 3 to 4 week wear
• Deliver classic manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, and gel polish services to a luxury Upper East Side clientele
• Maintain hospital-grade sanitation and autoclave sterilization protocols per NY State Board standards
• Build long-term client relationships, rebook appointments, grow your personal book
• Recommend appropriate add-on services and aftercare products
• Help shape our service menu, sanitation protocols, and client experience

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid New York State Nail Specialty license (required)
• 2+ years performing Russian Manicures / e-file manicures in a professional setting
• Advanced e-file proficiency — diamond and ceramic bits, cuticle and sidewall precision
• Skilled in structured gel, BIAB, Gel-X, gel polish, and gel manicure application
• Strong knowledge of nail anatomy, sanitation, and sterilization standards
• Portfolio of your nail work required (photos or Instagram handle)
• Professional, punctual, client-focused

• Available to start immediately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience at a luxury salon, med spa, or high-end nail studio in NYC / Manhattan
• Existing client book / following you can bring
• Nail art skills (French, chrome, encapsulated, ombré)
• Additional certifications in advanced e-file or Russian manicure technique

• Bilingual a plus
