<strong>Job Summary</strong><br><br>Schoolcraft College Workforce & Economic Development offers a variety of non-credit courses. Our classes are developed and taught by subject matter experts. A typical Workforce Economic Development instructor may teach only one non-credit class in her/his expertise, or might teach several classes, all dependent upon student demand for the subject matter. A Workforce & Economic Development instructor at no point will teach full time.<br><br><strong>Job Duties</strong><br><br>Schoolcraft College Workforce & Economic Development is seeking a <strong>part-time Instructor for Vascular Intervention Radiography</strong>. The ideal candidate will have experience with Vascular Intervention Radiography and a proven track record in teaching or training with strong interpersonal skills to connect with participants. You may be responsible for developing and/or delivering engaging course content, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive learning environment.<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><ol><li>Degree and/or equivalent knowledge/experience.</li><li>Current ARRT certification.</li><li>Current Vascular Interventional (VI) certification.</li></ol><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><ol><li>Previous teaching experience.</li></ol><strong>Physical Requirements</strong><br><br>Schoolcraft College is an AA/EEO Employer.<ul><li>Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.</li><li>Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.</li><li>Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</li><li>Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li><li>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
