Location: US Remote
About Role:
This is a Cloud Telemetry Control‑Plane + Observability Platform role, NOT Linux OS and NOT basic telemetry agent support.
It is closest in nature to “Legacy Observability Agent role”, but still distinct.
Key Cloud Telemetry Highlights:
Core Focus Areas
- Kubernetes control plane & CRDs
- Telemetry routing & management APIs
- High‑throughput cloud telemetry (logs, metrics, traces)
- Edge / air‑gapped environments
- Google Distributed Cloud (GDC)
Strong Technical Expectations
- 5+ years Kubernetes ecosystem & telemetry infrastructure
- OpenTelemetry + Prometheus
- Envoy, service mesh, telemetry proxies
- Store‑and‑forward architectures
- Go / C++ / Java / Python (Go strongly preferred)
Nature of Work
- Building Kubernetes‑native management layers
- Translating high‑level telemetry intent → runtime configs
- Designing scalable control planes, not agents only
- OSS contribution is a strong expectation
Mandatory Skills: Enterprise Kubernetes
Experience: 5-8 Years
Compensation:
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $160,000.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
