Paraeducator, General Application for 2026-2027 School Year

You must to apply for each posted paraeducator assignment you wish to be considered for upon completion of this application. The postings will indicate the school location, type of paraeducator assignment, hours and salary.

Lincoln Public Schools is continuously accepting applications for consideration for paraeducator positions across the district. The paraeducator positions consist of a variety of duties dependent upon the type of student needs and programs.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers in carrying out the district's educational program; classroom and lunchroom supervision; aiding a student with special needs - learning and behavioral needs, as well as mental and physical challenges; early childhood programs; and school entrance monitoring and general supervision.

The work schdule for paraeducator assignments are dependent on what is needed to support students at the building. The successful candidate for a paraeducator assignment will review and sign the appropriate job description prior to the designated start date. Training and educational requirements will be indicated on each specific posting.

2025-2026 Salary Range: $18.00/hour to $21.50/hour**

(2026-2027 Salary Range pending negotiated agreement)
