We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in the chemical industry. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot chemical plant operations to ensure smooth performance.
Implement cost-effective and sustainable process improvements.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to enhance workplace safety.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations (OSHA, EPA, ISO, etc.).
Perform data analysis, process simulations, and technical evaluations using industry tools.
Work with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
Prepare technical documentation, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in scaling up laboratory processes to full-scale production.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
2-7 years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, mass transfer, and reaction engineering.
Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, MATLAB, ChemCAD, etc.).
Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, and scale-up.
Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automation, process control systems, and industrial equipment.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with energy efficiency and waste reduction strategies.
Experience working with chemical plant startups, commissioning, or expansion projects.
