Recurring Drone Pilot [Remote]

<p> Position Summary:<br /> The Recurring Remote Drone Pilot will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of drones in assigned production and broadcast environments. This role involves gaining all necessary approvals to operate drones at live sporting events, and will be called upon to travel to event sites regularly to operate.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> • Ensure safe operation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) in compliance with company policy and applicable regulations.<br /> • Maintain records as required for training, flights, and equipment.<br /> • Serve as remote pilot in command or visual observer as needed.<br /> • Assist with UAS clearances and approvals as assigned.<br /> • Assist with maintenance, logging, and upkeep on the fleet of company-owned UAS.<br /> • Train and maintain currency in flight procedures and techniques.<br /> • Collaborate with Drone Operations team and follow priorities as outlined by Content Operations management.<br /> Required Qualifications:<br /> • Valid FAA Part 107 certification.<br /> • Valid US driver's license.<br /> • Demonstrated knowledge of FAA Part 107 regulations.<br /> • Experience in UAS operations within a production environment.<br /> • Experience in non-linear based editing systems.<br /> • Minimum of 50 logged UAS flight hours.<br /> • Regular travel will be required to event/production sites.<br /> • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.<br /> <br /> Required Education:<br /> • High School Diploma or Equivalent<br /> <br /> Preferred Education<br /> • Bachelor's Degree in Media Production, Communications, Aviation, or Related Field, or equivalent experience.<br /> Additional Information: (i.e. physical requirements, holiday, nights, weekend shifts, etc.)<br /> Position requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.<br /> The pay rate for this remote role is $32.50 to $53 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
