Position Summary
In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment by supervising patient activity and supporting direct care staff. You’ll engage individuals using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches while modeling positive behaviors and strong problem-solving skills.
You may also step into a lead capacity when leadership is unavailable, depending on staffing needs.
What You’ll Do

Supervise unit activity and patient movement

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized unit

Support and engage youth and adults in daily activities

Assist with crisis intervention and emergency response

Follow and support individualized treatment plans

Complete accurate and timely documentation and reports

Transport patients to appointments as needed

Assist with meals, laundry, and other daily needs
-
Attend trainings, meetings, and ongoing education
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
-
At least 1 year of related experience or training

Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Experience

Experience in behavioral health or related field

Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centered care

Experience supporting individuals in behavioral health crises

Physical Requirements
