SAP FICO Consultant

To support a public sector organization, the contract SAP FICO Consultant will work remotely to design and implement discretionary fund accounting within an existing SAP ECC environment while preparing for a future migration to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud. Key responsibilities: Lead discovery sessions to gather financial, budgetary, and reporting requirements Evaluate current SAP functionality and recommend optimal design approaches for fund accounting Document technical architecture and design decisions while reviewing recommendations with client stakeholders Required qualifications: Strong experience with SAP Financials in SAP ECC, preferably ECC 6.0 EHP8 Public Sector Funds Management experience, including budget control systems and fund centers Familiarity with New GL, document splitting, and company code design Ability to design solutions for segregated accounting with consolidated reporting Prior experience with ECC solutions that are migration-ready for S/4HANA preferred
