<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Snowflake AI Engineer</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Austin (Hybrid)</p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Long-Term Contract</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake AI Engineer to support a State client in designing, developing, and optimizing modern AI and data solutions on the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake, AI/ML integration, cloud data engineering, and scalable data architecture. This role involves building intelligent data pipelines, enabling AI-driven analytics, and supporting enterprise data modernization initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop scalable data solutions using Snowflake.</li><li>Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.</li><li>Integrate AI/ML models and GenAI capabilities with Snowflake environments.</li><li>Develop data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled analytics solutions.</li><li>Optimize Snowflake performance, security, governance, and cost management.</li><li>Implement data orchestration and automation workflows.</li><li>Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li><li>Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI/data engineering solutions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with State data security and governance standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Platforms.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake development and administration.</li><li>Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI solutions with enterprise data platforms.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages.</li><li>Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).</li><li>Knowledge of data modeling, performance tuning, and data warehousing concepts.</li><li>Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, or similar.</li><li>Familiarity with REST APIs and AI/ML frameworks is preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p></p>
