You will strengthen delivery by partnering on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices to improve performance, security, and operational excellence.</span></div><div><br></div><h4><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs that support product features and integrate with internal and external systems.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Build and optimize data models and queries to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and data integrity.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Contribute to DevOps and cloud infrastructure practices, including deployments, automation, monitoring, and incident response.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to scope work, ship iteratively, and uphold quality through code reviews and testing.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><h4><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Required Skills</strong></h4><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Strong backend engineering experience delivering production services with clear ownership for reliability, maintainability, and performance.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Proficiency building services with Node and Typescript, including modern API design and service-to-service communication.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Proficiency building services and automation with Python.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience using PostgreSQL in production, including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure and automation with Terraform.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Familiarity running and maintaining workloads on Kubernetes.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><h4><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Preferred Skills</strong></h4><ul><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience working with GCP.</span></li><li class=""><span style="background-color: transparent;">Experience building services with .NET Core.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><h4><strong style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">UP.Labs Summary</strong></h4><div><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">We build high-growth technology startups that enable faster, cleaner, and safer movement of people and goods.
