About the role The Senior Revenue Analyst will report to the Manager of Revenue Accounting and System Solutions and will work closely with our cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, business automation, ad sales) to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting for our ad sales advertising activities as well as enhancing existing internal systems to promote efficiency and scalability within the revenue accounting function and overall order-to-cash process. We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills, highly organized with attention to detail, great communication skills, and ability to drive issues through resolution. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between \$130 ,000 and 142 , 00 0 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional teams (sales, ads operations and others) to ensure accurate revenue recognition and billing in accordance with ASC 606 for the ad sales business
Partner with product management, engineering, and business automation to drive automation through system implementations, operational enhancements, and improve user experience
Assist with revenue share payouts and provide insights to product management and engineering to improve related automation
Develop and maintain systems and process documentation as needed
Support continuous process improvements within the revenue accounting organization as well as other order-to-cash processes
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar
4-8 years of prior revenue accounting and system automation experience
Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606, preferably in digital advertising ecosystem
Possess deep understanding of order-to-cash processes with a track record of identifying gaps and driving efficiencies
Proficiency in Excel
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills
Nice-to-haves
CPA is preferred
SQL experience in Superset is a plus
Salesforce highly preferred, NetSuite experience is a plus
