<p class="x_MsoNormal">Our client is looking for a skilled and compassionate Young People’s Substance Use Worker, to work within a highly respected social justice and harm reduction charity based in Oxfordshire.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>What will your responsibilities be?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage a diverse caseload of young people aged 8–25, delivering support across community settings and family/children’s centres.</li>
<li>Maintain a well‑structured diary, incorporating travel time, visit planning, and case management tasks.</li>
<li>Use digital systems confidently while working remotely and without regular in‑office support.</li>
<li>Record and manage travel time accurately within diary.</li>
<li>Conduct risk‑managed, trauma‑informed interventions tailored to each young person’s needs.</li>
<li>Lead “walk and talk” sessions, with expenses claimable (up to £5 for the worker per session).</li>
</ul>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>Ideal</strong> <strong>Candidates:<br></strong><br>Experience in substance misuse / drugs & alcohol work.<br>Background supporting young people in community settings with risk‑based work.<br>Experience with young people aged 8–25.</p>
