Project Details The Asset Protection Intern will support store operations by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency within Asset Protection administrative functions, with the overarching goal of helping reduce inventory shrink. This role will provide hands-on exposure to key loss prevention tools and processes, including POS exception-based reporting and analytics, CCTV investigations, cash shortage analysis, merchandise theft investigations, and safety and accident trend reporting. Through data analysis and investigative support, the intern will contribute to proactive case development and store-level risk mitigation strategies. Success in this role will be measured by the intern’s ability to initiate and support quality cases in alignment with team benchmarks, demonstrate analytical rigor, and apply insights that strengthen overall shrink reduction efforts.
Responsibilities

Requirements
Must be actively enrolled as rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad with a relevant background. Those studying under an associate’s certificate or similar program may be considered if coursework and skills fit the individual project requirements.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
Must be available for the full 10-week program as space is limited
Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively

Degree area or experience in Law and Justice, Criminal Justice, Business, or similar
Strong verbal and written communication skills
