Join our early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher, where your passion for working with young children will help create a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment. In this role, you will support the development of toddlers by guiding them through hands-on learning experiences while fostering independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth.
This position requires a strong understanding of toddler development and a willingness to support all aspects of care, including daily routines and personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with early childhood and Montessori-inspired practices
Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes exploration, independence, and learning
Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance and redirection
Provide attentive care to toddlers, including diaper changing, toileting assistance, feeding, and maintaining proper hygiene routines
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared classroom environment at all times
Monitor and document student progress and developmental milestones
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding daily updates, progress, and any concerns
Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to ensure consistency and quality across the program
Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and school policies
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a school or childcare setting with toddlers (18–36 months)
Must be available to work Monday through Friday
Montessori experience is a plus, but not required
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, sitting on the floor, and active supervision
Comfortable and experienced with diaper changing and hands-on toddler care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for early childhood education and child development
Preferred Qualifications
Montessori certification or training (NAMC, AMI, AMS, or equivalent)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working in a structured early learning environment
This is a hands-on role that requires patience, consistency, and a genuine passion for working with toddlers during a critical stage of development.
