Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm

Location: Denton, TX

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 3 months (Possibilities of extensions)

Pay Range: $22/hr- $23.40/hr

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Perform all the duties within the medical assistant scope of practice

    Organizes the clinical environment and provides support in patient care situations to assist physicians, APC’s and nurses

  • Perform patient-oriented procedures and medication administration under MA scope of practice
  • Operates diagnostic equipment, remove staples from superficial wounds, changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication, performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture or via capillary, performs EKGs.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • License(s):
  • Certification(s): CCMA/RMA
  • Years of experience: 1 Year
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Phlebotomy and EKG
