MAE is a Kuwait-based luxury fashion house operating two brands — FORGE and HOWSHEWEARSIT. We are seeking a highly organised, fashion-literate Virtual Assistant to support the founder directly across brand operations, supplier coordination, and content management.
This is a remote role. You will work directly with the founder and be trusted with brand communication, supplier relationships, and social media presence. Precision, professionalism, and reliability are non-negotiable.
Role Description
Operation & Sourcing
Supplier and manufacturer communication — follow-ups, sample tracking, shipping coordination
Managing DHL and courier logistics for samples and production
Researching and vetting new suppliers, factories, and sourcing contacts
Organising production timelines and tech pack documentation
Inbox management and professional correspondence on behalf of the founder
Operation & Sourcing
Scheduling and publishing content across Instagram and Pinterest
Drafting captions in the brand voice — minimal, editorial, precise
Curating Pinterest boards aligned with brand aesthetic
Coordinating content calendars and shoot schedules
Monitoring brand mentions and responding where appropriate
Social Media & Content

General Brand Support

Qualifications / You Are
Fashion-literate — you understand how the industry operates and follow it with genuine interest
Familiar with luxury brand standards — tone, communication, and presentation matter to you
A strong communicator — professional, precise, and confident across email, social, and client-facing correspondence
Organised and operationally sharp — you manage multiple tasks without dropping detail
Comfortable with supplier and manufacturer correspondence — follow-ups, sample tracking, and production coordination are second nature
Skilled at social media management — you can schedule, caption, and curate content that fits a brand world, not just fill a grid
Sales-aware — you understand how to support revenue activity, client relationships, and brand conversion without being transactional
A precise writer — emails, captions, and documents are clean, professional, and editorial in standard
Proactive and self-directed — you identify what needs doing and do it without daily supervision
Reliable from day one — available Monday to Friday, responsive during agreed hours, and accountable for output
Experienced in virtual assistance, fashion industry support, or brand management — this is a plus, not optional
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in fashion operations, sourcing, or brand support
Demonstrated experience managing social media for a fashion or luxury brand
Excellent written English — professional and editorial standard
Experience with Instagram, Pinterest, and content scheduling tools
Familiarity with production processes, supplier communication, and sample management
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Portfolio or examples of previous fashion brand work required
Details- Rate: $10–$15 per hour based on experience
