<ul><li>Safely operate a forklift, including a standing forklift, to load trucks and move inventory from one location to another.</li><li>Perform routine machine adjustments.</li><li>Accurately maintain inventory records and paperwork.</li><li>Assist with monthly inventory counts, year-end inventory counts, and cycle counts as required.</li><li>Accurately maintain shipping paperwork.</li><li>Assist with powder sampling in accordance with U.S.D.A. guidelines</li><li>Maintain safe work habits, wear personal protective equipment, obey safety rules, and overall contribute to a safe work environment.</li><li>Attends required training, including but not limited to, GMP’s, HAACP, SQF, Safety, etc.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement to include Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Leader Standard Work.</li><li>Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.</li><li>Firmly adhere to the values and ethics of DFA. Other duties may be assigned as required.<br><br></li></ul>,<br><br><strong>Education And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>1+ year manufacturing or production experience preferred</li><li>1+ year of previous forklift experience required</li><li>Certification and/or License - forklift certification preferred<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Abilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Able to work in a team oriented environment and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse team.</li><li>Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts.</li><li>Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing (including legible writing).</li><li>Able to perform routine machine adjustments.</li><li>Able to show willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; able to present options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures.</li><li>Able to take on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be done.</li><li>Able and willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others.</li><li>Able to adapt to changing situations and perform all tasks when and where assigned.</li><li>Able and willing to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision.</li><li>Able to maintain a positive “can do” outlook, rebound quickly from frustrations and unpleasantness, and maintain composure and a friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situations.</li><li>Must be able to read, write and speak in English.<br><br></li></ul>An Equal Opportunity Employer<br><br>$19-$23
