If you’re looking to build a career in manufacturing with a team you can make a difference with, we might be the place for you! </span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Melrose Park, IL is part of the Union.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;><strong>Shift Information </strong> 2nd Shift, 200PM - 1000PM</span></p></div></div><div style='padding 10px 0px;border 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size16px;word-wrap break-word;'><H2 style='font-size 1em; margin 0px'><b>What you'll do</b></H2> </div><div><p>As a Warehouse Lead on the second shift, you'll be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating the order staging and loading processes, investigating inventory issues under direction from supervisors, where needed assisting with delivery creation and tendering in emergency scenarios. As a working lead duty will be split as required by the supervisor on shift.</p><p> </p><p>Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to)</p><p> </p><p><strong>Order staging & loading coordination</strong></p><p> </p><ul type=disc><li>Coordinate order staging/loading with the Warehouse Supervisor; load trucks accurately and on schedule.</li><li>Communicate with the team to keep workflow moving and resolve issues quickly.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Truck driver check-ins/outs</strong></p><p> </p><ul type=disc><li>Support driver check-in/check-out and complete all required documentation.</li><li>Investigate and resolve paperwork discrepancies.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Load prep & tracking</strong></p><p> </p><ul type=disc><li>Partner with offsite logistics (GBS) to maximize staging/loading coverage and prevent gaps.</li><li>Create emergency shipments when offsite support is unavailable outside standard hours.</li><li>Document and process all deliveries accurately (Direct, LTL, and shuttles).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Loading & picking</strong></p><p> </p><ul type=disc><li>Load/unload trucks and pick orders to company standards.</li><li>Handle product safely and efficiently.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>General warehouse tasks</strong></p><p> </p><ul type=disc><li>Support the Warehouse Supervisor with inventory checks/validation and general coordination.</li><li>Maintain housekeeping and complete internal area, quality, and safety checks as scheduled.</li><li>Assist team members as needed and follow all safety regulations and protocols.</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding 10px 0px;border 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size16px;word-wrap break-word;'><H2 style='font-size 1em; margin 0px'><b>What you'll need to be successful</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Qualifications</span></strong></p><p> </p><ul><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>High school diploma (or equivalent).</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>3+ years warehouse/logistics.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>3+ years leading teams.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Organized; clear communicator.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>WMS/software proficiency.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Lift up to 50 lbs; manual work.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Preferred Qualifications</span></strong></p><p> </p><ul><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Lead/supervisory experience.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Forklift certification (preferred).</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Familiarity with inventory management systems.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>SAP experience is a plus (not required).</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Working Conditions</span></strong></p><p> </p><ul><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Standing, walking, and manual work for extended periods.</span></li><li><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>May work in varying temperatures and noise levels.</span></li></ul></div></div><div style='padding 10px 0px;border 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size16px;word-wrap break-word;'><H2 style='font-size 1em; margin 0px'><b>Compensation Data</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>The pay rate for this position is $23.33 per hour.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on 6/6/2026.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Note This role additionally pays 1/hr per hour for Lead pay and a shift differential of .50 cents. </span></p><p> </p><p><span style=font-family arial, helvetica, sans-serif;>Disclaimer We may use artificial intelligence tools to support the review and assessment of applications and assist with scheduling interviews.
