We're looking to fill a full-time. Spanish/English, position of WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing technical work operating a water treatment facility, taking samples, performing routine tests, ensuring proper facility operation, ensuring compliance with operating permit requirements, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. This position has standard full-time hours but may also be responsible to be at the facility during extreme weather conditions. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Laboratory Lead.
Responsibilities include: Adherence to State and Federal laws in these areas. Maintains knowledge of industry trends, performs research, and communicates data as needed or assigned. Maintains successful operations of the facilities. Collects, compiles, and analyzes data concerning current treatment and operational needs and supports development of tactical and strategic information for use in decision making. Maintains confidentiality where needed. May be required to work outside normal work hours in on-call and emergency situations.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
