<p><b>Position Overview</b></p>
<p>JTG is seeking experienced <b>freelance translators</b> to support <b>financial, accounting, </b>and<b> tax-related language projects</b>. Assignments may involve written translation, transcription, and quality review of sensitive materials for government and regulated-industry clients.</p>

<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Translate documents involving <b>financial, accounting, regulatory, and tax-related subject matter</b></li>
<li>Perform <b>verbatim transcription</b> of audio files and translate transcripts into the target language, in accordance with project specifications</li>
<li>Apply <b>domain-specific terminology</b> and follow designated style guides and quality standards</li>
<li>Review and provide quality assurance feedback on other linguists’ work, as required</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and professionally in <b>written and spoken English</b></li>
<li>Meet deadlines while maintaining strict confidentiality and data-handling requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated professional experience translating between English and at least one foreign language</li>
<li>Familiarity with <b>financial, accounting, regulatory, or tax terminology</b></li>
<li>Strong written English skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in <b>Microsoft Office</b> (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to successfully complete a <b>U.S. Government background investigation</b> (Public Trust level or equivalent), as required by specific assignments</li>
<li><b>U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency</b></li>
</ul>
