Product Engineer II – Utility Solutions

We welcome you to Esri where you’ll find room for innovation, respect for your subject matter expertise, and an expectation to help our customers.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Discover customer needs and craft geospatial solutions that cater to the electric, gas, water, sewer, stormwater and telecommunications industries</li> <li>Configure ArcGIS apps, tools, and information models for industry-specific uses</li> <li>Identify and document ArcGIS Solution configuration and usage patterns</li> <li>Create and maintain product documentation and enablement materials for utility solutions</li> <li>Provide input into product design aspects to assure our products are simple to use and provide a great experience for our customers</li> <li>Work closely with customers, software development, business development, and professional services teams to define and develop solutions</li> <li>Draft and review ArcGIS Solutions product briefs, presentations, and documentation</li> <li>Design and author test cases for functionality, performance, scalability, and durability; execute both manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and report results</li> <li>Continually assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing ArcGIS Solutions</li> <li>Present and evangelize solutions to internal and external audiences</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of professional experience in the utilities, infrastructure or telecommunications industries and experience applying ArcGIS to support specific industry workflows</li> <li>Experience implementing and utilizing ArcGIS Utility Networks</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to document and build GIS workflows</li> <li>Creative problem solver and a team player</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in geography or related field</li> </ul> <p><strong>Recommended Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of utility data management, asset management, and related utility workflows </li> <li>Electric utility GIS experience</li> <li>Data modeling experience</li> <li>Programming experience with scripting languages such as Python or Arcade </li> <li>Experience with ArcGIS Pro and configuring web-based GIS applications </li> </ul> <p>#LI-MB1</p> <p>#LI-Remote</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Total Rewards</strong></p> <p>Esri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
